We stayed as a rest stop while cycling the C&O Canal trail and it worked out great. The house is about a half mile off the trail and up a hill. There are four rooms/suites and a common area kitchen and living and sitting rooms. The ere is also a bike storage room accessible from the inside of the house that was really handy for packing up in the cold morning we had. There are just a couple places to eat if you don’t have a car to drive but we found the gas station/country store pizza way better than expected! Great views from the front porch of the house and wonderful spot to visualize the history of Paw Paw. Would definitely stay again!

Excellent stay for us on a night during our C & O adventure. Close to the trail, easy to navigate and very cozy after a long day. The place is very clean, comfy beds and hot showers! They had a convenient storage for the bikes as well.

Great place to stay while riding the C&O path. Plenty of room for our group. We were pleasantly surprised to find that there was a bathroom attached to each of the bedrooms since the description indicated 1.5 bathrooms. Thanks for the great bike storage room!

The house was excellent and really neat and clean. Even though the hosts were remote they were quick with their responses and suggestions. Bike storage was indoors and secure. An easy walk down to the gas station grill for meals. I would be happy to recommend this inn to anyone looking for accommodations in Paw Paw.

We had a great stay here. The bed was very comfy. The host was very responsive when we had a problem figuring out the washer and dryer. The house has lots of amenities and is so close to the C&O trail. Highly recommend!

We absolutely love staying at mountain life and would highly recommend this place to others. The place was convenient to a lot of hiking trails and it was situated in the cutest little town.

We were biking the GAP trail and needed a place to stay. We were very lucky to find this place. It was peaceful, clean and relaxing. We were the only people staying on the night we were there, so we had the entire place to ourselves and it was wonderful. Nice place to lockup the bike. Parking right outside. We brought in our own food because we already knew that there were not many places to eat, but the owners left a note providing suggestions on eateries. Bathroom very clean - plus some extras we were not expecting. Absolutely recommend to stay here if traveling through Paw Paw. Thank you for the relaxing evening to recharge.
